Ondrej Krajňák is one of Slovakia’s leading jazz pianists, composers, arrangers, and among the country’s most sought-after musicians. Born in Levice in 1978, he showed exceptional talent from an early age, winning awards in both classical and jazz competitions before studying at the Erkel Ferenc Jazz Academy in Budapest. Over his career, he has become a respected figure on the European jazz scene, recording more than 40 albums and collaborating with renowned artists across jazz, ethno, and world music. Known for his virtuosity, musical versatility, and expressive improvisation, Krajňák has performed internationally and received multiple awards for his contributions to music.
